Customers Want It Even When They Don’t Know It
We’re now also in an age where some customers have more knowledgeable requirements about what they’d like from their car, even if their technical proficiency isn’t there to articulate how these demands should be met.
Fuel efficiency, for example, is a growing concern among many environmentally-conscious drivers. Newer paints applied with advanced temperature control systems in place may actually increase fuel efficiency by over 10 percent in the summer, as the finish reflects more heat and allows air conditioning units to work less. The warmer surface of the exterior helps to increase aerodynamic efficiency.
Adequate temperature control can also reduce the amount of solvents used during the application process, which can be used an additional selling point for eco-friendly consumers.
Many consumer demands can be met through the quality application of a vehicle’s finish. With temperature control solutions, automotive manufacturers can ensure their finishes are meeting the diverse needs of their consumers.
